This page describes how KinoLoom handles content moderation and reports. KinoLoom does not host any content itself and is a search/discovery layer on top of third-party platforms.
Automated filtering
Every search query and every result passes through an automated safety filter. Terms and titles that point to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), minors or non-consensual content are rejected before any request is sent to a source. Sources with a lower trust level are subject to a stricter second filtering layer.
User reports (modelled on DSA Art. 16)
Every video has a report button. A report for a possible minor, for violence or abuse or for content shared without consent removes the video from the feed immediately and puts it on a list for human review. Other reports block an item once five different people have reported it. Reporters are counted once each using a one-day pseudonym, which is deleted once a decision has been made.
Serious cases
Suspected child sexual abuse material is removed from the feed at the first report and reported to the Dutch hotline Offlimits (part of the INHOPE network) and, where required, to the police. We never download or store such material ourselves. We cooperate with lawful requests from regulators.
Little data to hand over
KinoLoom keeps no accounts and no profiles on a server. The only server-side record is the request log described in our privacy policy: it holds no IP addresses, can link requests only within a single day, and is deleted after 14 days. Less data means less risk for everyone.
Settings can produce an encrypted backup of your on-device profile. That is a file you download and keep: it is never uploaded, and the key never leaves your browser. It does not change the statement above, because the backup never reaches us. If that ever changes, this page changes with it, in the same release.
Regional access
The service is offered only in the countries we have chosen, currently the member states of the European Union. Access from other countries, including the United Kingdom and the United States, is blocked.
Point of contact
Our single electronic point of contact for authorities and for users is info@kinoloom.com. Correspondence is accepted in English and Dutch. For suspected child sexual abuse material or content shared without consent, use the report button, which removes the video at once, or, if urgent, write to info@kinoloom.com. The report button is the fastest route and asks for no name or contact details.
